like believe it or not sometimes kids of criminals don't turn out the same way in fact that's actually pretty common.

anyway Tom seems to have his struggles but I don't think he's a bad dude I actually just think he's over emotional tbh dude seems to easily get caught up in a moment and can go to an extreme emotion pretty quickly like his bad reaction to Belle turning him down.

but also when he seems genuinely happy like when she proposed after he got to meet those two ice skaters or whatever he almost seemed somewhat child like in his overjoyed happiness at the situation.

idk maybe I'm not explaining this very well lol but anyway I actually like him and I'd be pretty disappointed if his character was wasted for some by the numbers abuse plot that's been done to death.
