See, the songs beautiful, mockingbird, and when I'm gone all carry a lot of emotions to them, all of which having a connection to his daughter, and alll of them being gut wrenchingly saddening. What I wanted to ask is if anyone knew of anything similar from any other artists, that not only have those deep emotional lyrics, but also carry the same vibe in the beat, melody and harmony. I don't mean sad like tupacs "so many tears either", because although the lyrics are deep and emotional, the backtrack does not carry that emotion enough for me, where as beautiful just hits me deep. So, if anyone knows anything like this, please shoot me some suggestions. PS: something with the flow of the old rappers would be nice. I just can't stand a lot of modern rap. I mean I also really like the sound of Drew Carter, if that helps.
