My aunt was going through things that my dad thought she would want since my mom passed away. She found these 2 embroidery patterns that would be made into a quilt. She had no idea what they were but when I told her she gave them to me so that I could use them in a nursery if I have another little one. Now I'm not sure what to do with them. They are probably around 60 years old & they were for my uncle who passed away when he was 13/14. I'm worried they might be to fragile to actually embroider like there supposed to be & I don't want to destroy something that obviously was extremely sentimental to so many people. Should I just frame them as is? I've thought about trying to copy the pattern onto new fabric so that I could embroider that fabric & have the original stay as is in a frame. Of course if I did that I'd try to send a embroidered version to my aunt as a gift. Sorry for rambling but I'm just really torn about what to do.
