What hand embroidery stitch would you use to do drippy slime letters?

Post Body

I've only tried embroidering something once with long and short stitches and it didn't turn out at all like I envisioned so I'm not experienced at all. Does anyone have any recommendations for what sort of stitch I could use for thick drippy slime letters (the sort you see for cheesy horror films) and filling them in? I want it to look really nice and neat looking. Thank you!
