Hi everyone!

So last Sunday I saw the movie Elvis with my best friend and oh my gosh. I could feel myself becoming obsessed with the movie AND him as I watched.

Before the movie, I didn’t really give him that much thought because I liked so of his popular songs I’ve heard but I didn’t really allow myself to like him because of him “stealing” from black people and culture. But now I understand that that’s not what happened at all really. I’m still hesitant to say and feel how much I love him as a black girl, but I’m really working on just letting myself enjoy life without always thinking about the moral implications of things 😆 (very much an overthinker as you can tell)

Anyway, I loved the movie so much! I love music and singing and it was all so wonderful. I get so overwhelmed when listening to his music that I start to physically shake. I am autistic so that definitely plays a part in it but all I can say I can definitely relate to all those girls back then haha.

⭐️I haven’t seen much stuff about the real Elvis because like I said I get really overwhelmed, but if anyone wants to talk about the movie or him and just obsess over it with me, send me a chat!
