In the words of Ram Dass...
"If I protest against war angrily don't you see? I'm creating the very thing I'm trying to get rid of."
You don't have to be spiritual or believe in Ram Dass' teachings to understand this simple message. It's easy to get angry about other campaign supporter's attacking our candidate, how the media stopped mentioning our efforts or how a billionaire was able to buy his way onto the debate stage. A negative reaction to all these things is just going to cause more negativity.
The way to deal with these things without creating polarization is to handle it without becoming the thing you dislike. Someone shouts snake or something similar while wearing your Warren shirt, oh I really like your candidate's stance on XYZ and wish them the best.
Instead of Twitter rants about how many delegates we have and/or how much money we raised and how the media is not giving us a fair shake, keep donating, phone banking and canvassing until the results speak for themselves and it's impossible not to cover the Warren campaign.
As the field gets smaller, their supporter's will most likely want to pick another candidate and limiting polarization is a great way to ensure we get those voter's.
