Some confusion with profit per tonne.

I understand that people are finding routes of upwards of 2,000cr profit per tonne, however I am confused as to if this is in a single journey, or in a round trip route.

I've been following tutorials and "best methods" which inlcudes Thrudds or Slopeys, and have only really been seeing PPT's of 1,700, not the 2,000 that people are saying they're finding. However, seeing some of the really slow paced videos that people have done of their routes, they're only getting around 1,400-1,500 from a single jump, so it's making me wonder.

TL;DR Is the profit per tonne based on a single journey, or round trip?
