It appears we are seeing a lot more of Samuel in Series 4 than we did in previous series. Not screen time, per se, but when he's onscreen, his wardrobe is less, uh, complicated. In Series 1-3, for example, when he was in a locker room or intimate scene in some state of undress, usually his body was dimly lit or obscured by other props or people. And then Series 4 rolls in.

We're not 45 seconds into Episode 1 before the camera gives us an eyefull of Samuel's bare chest while he's on the bleachers at the swimming pool ... and it appears he's done some impressive toning up between Series. Then in Episode 2 a wardrobe malfunction gives us a brief glimpse of more Samu that we've ever seen before.

And then there's the scene in Episode 5 or 6 where he's alone in the school showers ... well, until he's not.

I wonder what was going through Itzan's mind (the actor playing Samuel) when they did the table read for that episode. I mean, did the producers take him aside at one point and say,"Look, Itzan, in a couple of episodes there's going to be a scene when you're in the team showers and the camera is going to pan slowly from your feat up your legs and then let our 30 million viewers focus on your ass rendered in high definition for about twenty seconds ... I thought you would like a heads-up." Or maybe they gave him no warning at all and Itzan found out about it at the table read ... which typically happens in the morning and then they start rolling camera that afternoon.
