Where or where has all the painite gone?

Hi all. I play on Xbox One and I have mainly been mining Low Temps for money out in Borann. I need 10 Painite to give to an engineer to unlock so I found metal rich rings and scanned out Painite hotspots. But...I can spend an hour shooting out prospector limpets at every rock I see and cant find an ounce of Painite. I've been to two systems and 5 different hotspots. Please help!
