Cutter For Painite Mining

So by the title is pretty self explanatory. I'm looking for the best build for the Imperial Cutter for lazer mining, I still haven't scratched the surface of the game so I haven't unlocked many engineers and all the builds I've found so far involve engineered parts.
Also if anyone know of a good tutorial for getting started with engineering, that would also be much appreciated
