Evacuate Bug?

I'm hitting the ground running with some ice mining missions, but I've got a strange problem. Sometimes when I hit the spacebar to empty out something in the hopper, it also ejects whatever is in the top position of the refinery. Does anyone else have this problem and how have you gone about fixing it?
