So I bought the game yesterday in the mid afternoon, it took quite a while to download. It finally did finish but it was getting late, so I figure I'll be able to play it the next day.

Got up, get ready to play the game, oh, it needs to redownload it. No prompt. Just that the game needs to be installed. Ok. Took more than a few hours to download and install ok.

Getting used to flying around and combat on the controller was interesting to say the least, but I eventually got the hang of it. I tried the K&M method, that didn't work out too well.

I did the tutorials a few times, cause it really was tough for me to get used to. Finally spawned into the world. I accepted the first two missions on the bulletin board, one was to get Animal Meat and the other was to liberate slaves. Ok, great. Then... what. I had no idea where to go. I thought maybe it was to transport from the current station that I am on and go somewhere else. Nope, it didn't say much. I went to a nearby station, nothing. I looked on the Wikia, nothing. I asked for help here. The answer I go was go find the slaves and go buy the Animal Meat. Ok. Not sure where to go, but let me go find them. So I spend the past couple of hours going to maybe 6 or 7 stations. I finally found Animal Meat. YES! oh, it costs 1,300 or which ever money the game wants. I'm already down to 800 from refueling and repairing. I still have yet to find any slaves to liberate.

I found a post here about going to Aulin system to make easy money. It is too far away and my ship wouldn't be able to get there on one trip. I thought maybe the game would help me plot out how to get there...nope. I thought maybe I can goto a nearby system and just keep doing that till I get there...not really since the map is in 3D so I am unsure if I am getting closer or further away. I'll try to find the slaves and Animal Meat.

I know that was probably a lot of complaining, but I figure if I spent $60 I would at least have an idea where to get the two items in the starting station that the game spawns me at. But I have no clue. I went to another system and still unsure where to find it. I did however accept another mission, which is to get cargo ships in three different systems. How the hell do I just go find a cargo ship in a system?

I am at a complete lost with a few hours into this game. Is there a guild that I may join? I have no idea what to do. I am at least, getting better at docking the ship, traveling between stations and systems. So I got that going for me.
