Got ganked fighting thargoids

And it was really fun. How do I make this happen when I'm in a ship that is outfitted properly for it? It's by far the most interesting flying I've done yet in Elite.
Do I just go to Deciat and start yanking randos in FDLs? Im sure I'll lose the first couple fights, but it was it fun to have a fight I had to think through instead of just flying circles around a goid.
