Playing on PC?

Hey, simple question here that probably has been answered 100 time.
I would like to play my Nintendo Switch through my PC, sending the HDMI signal to the PC and playing through the monitor. I read this as an option. What I haven't been able to find is someone verifying they do this. I would understand not using a capture card that runs through USB for this, but what about the PCI ones? How bad is the delay on that?
