Xb1 no mic/game chat

So I have a Astro mixamp Pro tr, I DO NOT have a Astro headset however, I use Logitech g935 and game chat can’t hear my mic on Xbox , let me give you a run Dow of my set up I stream from my pc, so Xbox is out to elgato then to pc/ monitor , optical from Xbox to mixamp , usb from mixamp to Xbox, stream port from mix amp to elgato , aux from mixamp to pc to hear alerts and music , headset plugged right to front of mixamp pro, I’ve messed with the command center software and everything and for the life of me cannot get people to hear my mic in the game(not stream that’s a yeti mic) however if I turn my headset to on it works but I don’t like doing that as the onboard eq takes over and I don’t like that I like the mixamp eq, and I know for a fact you can use mic just direct cable with inline mute and such from the headset I used it before I got the mixamp, does anyone have any insight as to why game chat can’t hear my mic I’m open to anything
