Hi all, I'm new to resin printing and need some advice.
Printer: Saturn 3
Resin: Siraya Tech Fast Grey
Temperature: 20 - 21 ยชC
Slicer: Lychee and Voxel Tango - Same result
I have been playing with Matrix Validation model before starting to print other stuff.
My goal is to print minis and small size models so I'm trying to get as much detail as possible.
Settings are for Pictures A - 0.02 mm Layer Height
Prictures B - first print at 0.05 mm Layer Height - looks a bit over exposed but no issue with borders or small bottom lines but huge hole in the infitinity symbol
As I lower exposure time on pictures A the issue seems to get worse on the red areas however the print does not look under exposed in my newbie opinion because I don't see any shiny (uncured) spots and this is best balance between pins and holes that I could get.
- What can I change to improve the issues with red areas? Some prints I also got holes on the infinity symbol as seen in pictures B.
- Could the yellow ares be for low temperature? meaning a lower viscosity with higher temperature might help?
- Is 0.02 mm too low for this printer?
