So I had set an OS tiltback if 45km/hr on my Patton yesterday. After my ride I forgot to turn this up/off
As I went off to my next ride. I forgot about this tiltback that I had set. I gunned it hard down a open clear road 100m from my house.
Tilt back kicked in hard. I heard a grinding noise and my EUC powered off and I slid on the asphalt. I'm okay gear saved me from roadrash and probably broken ribs.
Euc wont turn back on again and the motherboard is probably fried. $500 AUD for a new one.
Anywayssss.
I have a V1 Patton. Didn't upgrade the firmware for the overvoltage beeps.
Is the mechanics of a tiltback the same as leaning back to brake? Is a tiltback effectively the same regenerative force? If so I understand how/why I had this cutout
Just wondering if this is the case and if there are any measures in other eucs to stop this from happening?
Even if I updated the firmware. I still would have cut out, there would have just been beeps warning me that something was happening
Thanks
