Questions for my DIY build

Hi guys looking for a little help. I'm building my first Diy electric longboard. I have some questions on motor pulley to drive pulley teeth ratios. I know you may not get as much speed or torque with different set ups and ratios. I currently am planning a 16T motor pulley to a 44t drive pulley.
Any thoughts and opinions welcome
