I posted previously about my gotrax rival giving me an E1 message and I did what the troubleshooting page said on Gotrax’s website, as well as emailing their customer support (which they stopped responding to me once I told them I did not buy the scooter from their website, but from someone else, brand new still in the box). Once I put the stem part back together I got an E5 message which apparently means brake failure. So I checked my brake line and couldn’t find anything, put it back together, turned on my scooter and very briefly the E1 message popped up and then the LCD screen changed to normal, showing a full battery and the mph when I walk with it. The front wheel feels as if it’s getting stuck (I have to force push it forward) and my scooter won’t even accelerate when I hit the throttle (I have a downhill driveway so it should accelerate easily like it did before). Is it the motor?? Or something else maybe? I’ve been trying to find anything online similar to what I’m describing and am getting nowhere. Gotrax customer support sucks, considering this is the second scooter I’ve bought of theirs (the first time was directly from their website) and even the first scooter I had a lot of problems and very little help from customer support I will never buy another Gotrax anything. But I need this scooter to get to work and until I can save up some money I’m stuck with it.
Please help! I’m so frustrated 😣
