Hi all - I bought this scooter in Dec 2021 and there were issues in May 2022, so I received a new unit in July 2022. Unfortunately, it stated having another issue starting Dec 2022. When I bought it in 2021, they only offered a 6 months warranty, which expired in June 2022, so my customer service calls usually end with “your scooter is out of warranty, we can’t help you.”
The recent problem started when the motor had to work hard to even generate low speeds. I took the wheel assembly apart, briefly opened up the motor to ensure the axle (or whatever it’s called) isn’t stuck or misaligned and recalibrated the brakes. That seemed to have made the ride smoother.
However, after about 1-1.5 mile of each (very smooth) scooter ride, there is a sudden stop of the motor, and from then on out, the motor seems to give out with beeps. I turn the unit off and on. And then the scooter will ride fine for another 3-5 min or so and then beeping starts again and the motor won’t run. Eventually, the motor won’t run at all with constant beeps even with restarts. There was once when I had the #4 error but it hasn’t shown up again. There doesn’t seem to be any obvious connection issues.
I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on next steps or recommended replacements based on this admittedly very high-level description of the issues. Thank you!
