A throttle question for Vsett 10+ owners

For those who've purchased the new central display, does it enable plug & play throttles if you want to switch to thumb throttle?
I know the original display requires soldering and what not to install a thumb throttle, but the new one seems more plug & play. But not sure. Thanks.
