SaskPoliticker Delivers Speech at SaskTel Centre to an Astonishing Hundred Thousand People from Across Saskatchewan and Manitoba Listening in the Arena and Outside

Friends,

In the heartland of the Prairies, where the wind whispers through fields of wheat and the sun sets across our land, setting aglow the fruits of our daily labour, we find ourselves at a pivotal moment. As your voice in parliament, I stand before you not as a politician, but as a believer in the power of unity, hope, and common purpose. I believe in common sense, cooperation, and commonwealth.

We in the CCF reject the divisive rhetoric of the far-right and embrace a vision that transcends political divides—a vision of inclusivity and collaboration that brings together rural and urban, that bales us together with the soft strong ties of sharing. For too long, we've seen our friends, family, and neighbours pitted against each other, our differences exploited for political gain. But today, I say enough is enough.

It is time to harness the strength of our diversity, to recognize that whether we toil in the fields or work in bustling city streets, we are all bound by a common destiny. Our economy cannot thrive if our industrial heartlands suffer, nor can our cities flourish if our rural producers are left behind.

That's why I propose a bold agenda—one that invests in the future of every prairie dweller, regardless of where they call home. We will modernize our ag sector, ensuring that our farmers have the tools and resources they need to compete in a global market. But we won't stop there.

We will prioritize infrastructure projects that connect our communities, from expanding broadband access to revitalizing our transportation networks. By bridging our geographical divides, we can unleash the full potential of our prairie economies, fostering innovation and prosperity for all.

And let us not forget the most vulnerable among us—the families struggling to make ends meet, the small businesses fighting to survive. We will stand with them, offering support and assistance to ensure that no one is left behind in our pursuit of a brighter future.

So let us cast aside the politics of division, and embrace a new era of cooperation and hope. Together, we can build a prairie where opportunity knows no bounds, where the dreams of our children can take root and flourish.

May hope be our guide to the path ahead. May our future burn brighter than a thousand suns. May we come together, stronger than ever, to build our Prairie home in the new land of an ever prosperous tomorrow. Join me in a great national crusade to Make Canada Great Again.
