I mean, with Twilight Struggle and Game of Thrones, it's worked brilliantly to streamline an otherwise complex experience - a gruelling learning process, and a messy setup requirement, not to mention rather intricate turns, are all simplified with the magic of computing. It's much smoother and organised for play, but maybe they're scared of how it'll impact physical sales, or the adaptation cost isn't worthwhile? Lovecraft has a devout following, but GAMING itself affords few opportunities to enjoy his lore and atmosphere - FF have an amazing opportunity to also capitalize on this in an interrelated industry. :< They don't have the experience, too, to probably do a pure game correctly and so a digitized board game of their excellent mechanics - perfection already there.
