Skyrim = Dovahkin/Dragonborn

Oblivion = The hero of Kvatch

Morrowind = The Nerevarine

Daggerfall = The Agent

Arena = The eternal champion

With Hammerfell most likely being the next setting. I assume we’ll be “sword singers”. Since the sword singers have basically become a myth and legend in the current age, I think we’ll be called “Ansei” or “The sword saint” since that is what they use to be called in ancient times.

Ultimately though, I would prefer to be a nobody who can learn some sword singing skills as the game progresses. So I’d rather be referred to as something less special like The Nomad or something.

Or maybe at the start of the game you suffer a wound that no one has ever survived. You somehow survive it and become known as “the survivor”.
