Will Npc choose Tsaescence trait. Or do you have to play as them.

The Tsaescence trait is the snake race one. I'm trying to do a playthrough where only this race and house rules Cyrodil Potentate. The issue is I've noticed that npcs won't used the consume option to have chance to gain Tsaescence trait, (which eventually turns them into snakes).

So far if I just switch character as them. I can manually use the option and pray to rng.

So main question? Will npcs use consume option on there own in hope if gain Tsaescence on there own. Or do you have to manually do it yourself?
