Question about stats

When I pull up my character status, my strength currently is 99, but that’s with Radagon’s talisman equipped.
But once I select the level up menu , my strength is displayed is 91 . I’m guessing that it’s showing my raw stats without any buffs/talismans .
So my question is : should I continue leveling up my base strength since it’s at 91 or would that be useless since my stats already show 99 with all my buffs?
