Help with Astel the Naturalborn?

I’m a strength-melee build , and have the bare stats with it comes to magic . My main weapon is bloodhounds fang which I cannot apply any ash of wars to.
The only thing I have in my disposal is my mimic and I’ve been trying for hours to beat his face up lol to no avail
