So we're playing down at Siofra River, our builds aren't really that great and we are clearly underpowered for the area, but we want to get to the Ancestral Spirit, and this guy Gideon Ofnir invades us. We do a lil bowing down and then we fight each other. Immediately, this guy obliterates my friend, the summon, with a spear that does Madness damage. We're like "oh fuck oh shit" and I'm hightailing my ass down back to the previous grace site with this guy right behind me, refusing to show even a slight hint of mercy. I try to attack him, but I'm so dogshit I don't even land a hit. Eventually, he kills me.

We joke about how despite being called Gideon Ofnir, he wasn't cosplaying him, but all in good fun.

Cue some minutes later, and we see the menace reappear. Now we know this guy too fawkin OP for us, so we immediately start begging, like "nah bro ok chill have mercy we're just wee lil goblins we don't even have shit", doing the Extreme Repentance emote, hoping he just leaves in peace. But instead, the absolute madlad, starts dropping endgame loot. Even better, the dude notices what our builds are and gives us stuff accordingly, the absolute legend that he was. I wish I took a picture but at the moment, both of us were too awestruck with what happened.
