Brother Corhyn's quest still bugged for me on PC, fixes I found do not work

I have this bug in 1.05. I tried all the recommendations in that thread and none of them worked for me. I changed language and changed it back. I started Elden Ring in offline mode. I bypassed EAC by renaming the protected game EXE and launching directly from eldenring.exe. None of that worked. Pretty balls that I can't go past the forge if I don't want to miss out on this.
