Can I use Miquella's Needle after I beat the final boss?

For reference, I would like to create multiple saves to see both Frenzy and Ranni's ending. I was wondering if I could do the frenzy ending, then go back, use the needle, and then get Ranni's. Wanted to see if I could use it after beating Elden Beast, but before I ended the story.
I have already done all of the steps required for the needle to work. If I can't do this then I just won't unleash the frenzy.
