Post Body

Hi there! I didn't play with Magic since back to DS2 and I'm a little bit lost, I got my staff, I learned some spells and they work! I play with a DEX weapon and I have the required stats for it.

I put some early stats: 20 VIGOR, and 20 MIND for comfort, but now my struggle:

Dex gives me more physical damage in my DEX weapon, and INT gives me more magical damage in my damaging spells like Pebble. but, when I use Scholar's Armament, I put temporal 'magic' affix to my DEX weapon, and then Dex is substituted for INT? I don't know how this actually works and the tooltip is not really clear.

Does Scholar's Armament get better with more INT?

My staff has something called Sorcery Scaling, I understand it improves my offensive spells like pebble, but it does apply to buffs like Scholar's Armament?

If I want to kick harder with my melee magic imbued weapon, which stat I should prioritize between DEX and INT?
