Any word on how common crafting materials are? (specifically titanite or its version in elden ring)

I'm just curious if crafting materials for upgrading your weapon is more common in Elden ring? I'm a bit overwhelmed this time around as to how I should put my build together and was hoping I'd be able to have a few more weapons on the go in the early game
