Look everyone, I love the fromsoft games. I love Miyazaki. I love that perfection is more important than rolling out manufactured hype.
Can we all agree that maybe...just maybe..it was a bad decision to leave us all this high and dry for this long? The interest will, and certainly is, already waning, despite the memes.
There is no fucking logical reason as to why we couldn't at least be thrown one more dog biscuit at this point.

I think this really illustrates the importance of a good marketing team. Anyone putting out the shortest of feelers would see that the bottlenecked pressure building up to today obviously indicated the perfect opportunity to lock us all in on the excitement.
It's such a goddamn lost opportunity. It's sad, really.
Elden Ring will happen eventually. I'm sure it'll be great, but, I can't help but feel that the full potential for communal excitement has been lost, unfortunately.
