So I was reading through Scottish folklore and thinking about how the game will prominently feature horses and riding, and I realized that kelpies could be this game's new mimic. For those of you who do not know, a kelpie is a water demon that takes the form of a horse, and if anyone tries to ride it, it will bolt toward a nearby lake and drown them. Often stories describe a person's leg's magically sticking to the sides of the creature, so they cannot get off. Other stories talk about how a person can ride or harness a kelpie, by using an iron bridle or other magic/holy item. Just imagine, you just lost your horse, and you're looking for a new one. You see a beautiful steed, standing on a hill by the lake. It doesn't move as you approach, and lets you mount it. Suddenly, it starts galloping toward the lake, plunging you both into the dark water. The "you died" message appears. Purely speculation, but ... just imagine!
