Anyone else hate having to do Varre's entire quest and getting all the way to Altus to kill Radahn just to get to the DLC? What's something I can do to make this quicker?

It would be so cool if we could just warp to the Gravesite Plains at the beginning of a NG playthrough. I see no reason why not.
Or at least let me just refight the damn bosses.
Anyhow, do you have any tips on how to make this whole ordeal quicker, or at least less dull?
