I know she, he, they, is a god and all that, but you’d figure someone as prideful as Gideon wouldn’t care. Master Hewg is terrified for obvious reasons, he’s just a Demi-human, but the fact that Gideon considers her so overwhelming it’s IMPOSSIBLE to win kinda took me by surprise. I do kinda wonder if it has some connection to seeing a part of the greater will tho, like, did Gideon catch a glimpse of Elden beast when exploring Marika? Since he’s clearly capable of weaseling his way into just about anywhere
