Insanity is…playing the exact same game, over and over and over again, but never getting bored. And that game is Elden Ring. Elden Ring is absolutely destroying me, in the sense that I can’t tear myself away from it. It’s an addiction; an itch that MUST be scratched every single day.

It’s amazing how I can do a full 100 hour 100% playthrough, and then start a new playthrough afterwards and do the exact same thing all over again. I’m going through the exact same motions every single time, and somehow I’m still not bored by it?! How can a game still be so satisfying after so many playthroughs??

It has seriously ruined other games for me. When I am playing any other game, even with friends, all l can think about is Elden Ring and the satisfaction I get from wacking enemies with a chunky sword, hearing that satisfying death sound, and then watching my numbers go up. And this game makes chipping away at boss health more satisfying than most other games too. It is preventing me from enjoying new games that I have just bought, like Dragons Dogma 2. Now I have a whole list of new games that I still haven’t finished. The only game that I have managed to finish recently was Dark Souls 1, and even then I had to occasionally interrupt my playthrough and hop on Elden Ring. I don’t know how to pull myself away from this game long enough to enjoy a new one. 😭

I’M GOING INSANE WITH ELDEN RING FEVER!! AHHHHHHHHH!!
