Hey all. I’m a first time player of the souls games (tried to play dark souls 2 and gave up an hour in), and I’m loving Elden ring. I had my fears that it’s going to be just as hard, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised that I can just avoid everything and only take fights I know I can win.

I also hate melee combat, it overwhelms me so I much prefer a ranged playstyle where I can keep my distance and kill everything without being in the center of a gangbang. So I looked up online and decided to go with the Astrologer - Int build and got the meteorite staff and rock sling. With that I defeated Margit and Godric in a single turn without even having to pop a health potion and now I feel like I’m missing out :(

I’m not saying that the game is easy, enemies who are very mobile and get in my face give me such a hard time (I died 30 times in stormveil castle, those fucking knights). But the boss fights don’t thrill me. I’m at level 36, just got past stormveil castle. What should I do?
