I'm sure someone's posted this before but I got so excited when I realized this and hope some other people find it interesting, too!

So I'm on my new game and going for a rushed duskborn ending so before even getting into Leyndell, I reached Fia in the Deepwood Depths. Did everything needed there, got the mending rune, and thought "hey where does this teleporter lead to?"

Of course the deepwood depths are below the Erdtree, so unsurprisingly the teleporter leads to Leyndell. Specifically, to the site of grace towards the beginning of the Capital section of the game - well past the Tree Sentinel boss fight.

As far as I know, this is the only way to bypass this fight? Are there any others I'm not aware of? Either way, while a kind of silly bypass since you'd still have to defeat Radahn and the Valiant Gargoyles at the bare minimum to access it, I think it's pretty cool that there is, in fact, a way to skip that fight if like me you have a harder time with the Tree Sentinels than some of the other bosses (or just don't want to make the trip to Leyndell's backdoor)
