Wow, the coil shield viper strike is fantastic! 400 hours in and I just recently discovered how great this is. 1 hit to set deadly poison for almost all enemies.

It always procs the damage bonus on kindred of rot (never once been 'too far away'). Great distance, like much more than I expect. Good speed ( the recovery could be a bit quicker but I can't complIan), and easy to see when it falls off and I need to reapply. I always miss when blood falls off, especially if I'm in a medium range battle and not constantly triggering bleeds.

Bonus, one less thing to do before the fight starts, which feels great to me. All that pre-fight buffing has always been a drag.

I am on team poison now. Just waiting for deadly and regular poison to stack and then life will be perfect.
