While Elden Ring is a great game, like most games it does have some problems, specifically with bosses and their difficulty levels, which can ruin the fun. Obviously, intentionally overleveling yourself can ruin the fun, but sometimes by just being through with the exploration you can accidently over level yourself for some bosses. What bosses do you nerf yourself for?
Morgott, the Omen King: Super fun fight, he has a great move set that, while has long combos, still has ample windows to punish him. But its very very easy to walk in their and melt through his pitifully small health pool. I usually run past Altus Plateau and Leyndell to get to his fight as soon as possible, and then circle around to get all the stuff i skipped.
Dragonkin Soldier of Nokstella: First time i ran into this guy, I was vastly underleveled with a poorly upgraded weapon, and beating him felt like the accomplishment of the century. Next playthrough, i was more through with exploration, ran into this guy at a higher level, and melted through his HP, as most people do. Figthing this guy at level 40ish is an incredibly fun experience.
Radahn: While I don't underlevel myself for the Radahn fight, I almost always go in their with no NPC summons. While I'm not anti - summoning (i used it a lot in my first playthrough), not using summons for this fight makes it a completely different experience and you get a lot more detailed look and appreciation for his moveset. No Torrent, no NPC summons, just me, and it was immediately a 10x cooler fight (which is saying a lot for an already amazing fight).
