Getting rekt by invaders

Hi all. I feel like I build is terrible against players or maybe I just not good enough in combat. Iām current using the treespear, and commander Niall armor. I usually Golden Vow and Orders Blade before a fight. Just curious of some ways I can improve. Thanks.
