Are character skin mods consistent with Seamless Co-op?

Hi all,

Sort of two questions in one:

  1. If a friend and I have the exact same mods installed (mostly just new skins for character/torrent/weapons), and we play co-op using Seamless, would the new additions appear in both our gameplays?

  2. If there are some different skins installed (e.g. I have the fallingstar beast skin for torrent, and my friend has the ancestral spirit skin for his torrent), do the different skins appear different?

For the last question, my understanding is that since these mods are essentially overriding the native game files with the modded ones during loading, I will see both my torrent and his torrent as the fallingstar beast on my side, while he will see both of them as the ancestral spirit, respectively because my side loads the beast files from the "mod" folder, and his side loads the ancestral spirit files.

Is there a way to make both the beast and ancestral spirit skins appear?

Thanks a lot. Am super noob in modding, hence sorry if this is something obvious
