As background, it's my first playthrough of Elden Ring (just never got around to it), but I have played all the dark souls before so am decently familiar with souls games. I'm looking to go a katana build, with either a hybrid magic or hybrid faith component. I really want to try this lightning faith katana build I'm seeing on youtube, but I'm also seeing that you don't get access to much lightning based incantations until much later in the game. Is that true and is this a bad idea for a first build? If not, any tips on where I should start with to get this build up and running as soon as possible or the best way to transition into this build naturally?

Mostly focused on PVE for now, so not worried about level caps or whatnot
