Last time i backpacked through el salvador was about 14 and 20 years ago and while i loved the rest of the country, san salvador was a place i would probably not choose to spend a night with my two young kids and older mother.
So, in reality, im guessing 1 hour layover on an international flight is going to be super hard to make. whats going to be my best option to find a decent hotel and get to it... uber? taxi? is there any hotel near the airport you could recommend?
my spanish is bad, but its good enough to get my point across, especially with google translate now.
