Post Body

Hello, about 3 weeks ago I took my car to a mechanic she found. The car was over heating with the summer heat and we needed to get it looked at. Originally it was a only a water pump so we paid to get that fixed. Then it was a gasket head( that was new ) that he needed to replace. Then he said that the timing belt was needing to be replaced but may have fixed the problems by screwing down something tighter. When we went to pick up the car he was not there and when we called him he had driven it out of the shop and the timing belt snapped. So he got the car towed back and then said he would fix it. Now the car has a stalled engine and I told him I wanted it moved to a dealership for any more fixes. He messaged me that as he was moving the car in to the shop he smashed up the sides. When I asked him for his shop insurance he said he didn’t have any. Then he asked if I would agree to a shady I have a guy who will fix it cheap but when I insisted on Insurance he lied again saying it was expired and that he wanted to use his friend’s. I told him that would be fraud and illegal and he then finally gave me his insurance. After sending the car to the wrong place I finally have it at the dealer and they have just told me that the battery (which was a new battery 2 months ago) was completely blown.

Is there any way I can recuperate any money and or sue this guy now that the car is out of his control. I’m desperate for any information you all might have.
