I'm in Canada. Ordered a King Pod 4 Ultra on May 9th. Paid $6592.95 CDN in full on my cc. This was a very big deal and a very big purchase for me.
Original shipping dates:Â Jun 10 - Jun 14 (a full month after purchase, but sure)
Delay #1:Â Jun 28 - Jul 3
Delay #2:Â Jul 8 - Jul 12
Delay #3 :Â Jul 15 - Jul 19
Delay #4 (emailed to me today): Jul 22 - Jul 25
After emailing Eight Sleep upon getting Delay #2, customer service offered me a $75 gift card. Told them I'd rather get the product I paid for.
I understand that those of us who aren't in major cities might take a bit longer (like the initial month-long wait, which I accepted), Peloton was able to deliver my bike on-time to me in the height of the pandemic, and Amazon gets things here super quickly too.
Sigh. I think it's time I pull the plug. :( I'm so, so bummed. But if Eight Sleep keeps repeatedly failing me now, what's the likelihood they can be trusted when it comes to the quality of their product and service?
:(
Not to be condescending or rub salt in wounds but I got mine within like three weeks of ordering. I don’t understand all the delays I’m hearing about and I do apologize. Mine actually arrived sooner than quoted delivery date. I am in the US.
And yes, Pod 4 is worth the hype/any wait. So comfy and easy as a breeze to install. I had an original… which was a nightmare and very hard/cumbersome.
You’ll love it when you get it! Which is hopefully soon!
