I still don’t get the egg if prophecy bonus

How do they get 2.5x off of 10 eggs?
If they each give a 5%-13% boost, is the boost random between 5 and 13 for each egg? Is the first egg 5%, the next egg 6%, the next 7%? So then 5 6 7=18%, so my multiplier would be 1.18x?
But if they’re all 10%, wouldn’t that just be a 2x bonus for ten eggs? Where are they getting 2.5x?
