I’m just hopeful for some commiseration here—it’s the first time I’ve missed a dose in months. Back when I was on Paxil, I could go three or four days without taking it (accidentally, I was new to daily meds,) and I would remember because I would get tracers as my eyes moved, and my lips would go tingly and weird.
Effexor is a whole new ballgame. I can’t focus my eyes without feeling like everything is spinning and about to crash, I currently feel sound, and not loud sound either. The ceiling fan noise is burning through my brain and making me twitchy and very uncomfortable. I feel like someone hooked a car battery onto my ocular nerves . It’s so damned bizarre.
I always get a little withdrawal at the end of the day, but this… heck no. This is terrible. The only drug I’ve ever been on that was harder to come off of, was suboxone. An opiate. And yeah it was harder, but nooooot by much.
