Any success 2nd time one effexor

I was wondering if anyone has had success restarting effexor. I have been off effexor now for over 3 years it was the only antidepressant that helped. I went through horrible withdrawal for over a year when the doctor tapered me too fast. I know its reaching for straws but just looking for some positive stories.
